Quin Friberg – Apologetics and Life Group Pastor
Quin was raised in a Christian household by parents who taught him the importance of truth as found in God’s Word. He’s lived in Pueblo for the past fourteen years, after spending his childhood in Colorado Springs. Quin is married to his beautiful wife Kayla, and has two children, Kalea and Eli. After teaching Life Groups at Family Worship Center for five years, he was brought on staff to lead the Apologetic, Life Group, and New Believer ministries. Quin is a philosophy students here in Pueblo, the author for two books, and a frequent speaker on worldview issues. His passion is to disciple and equip believers to witness and reach their friends, family, and community with the gospel.
Jeremy & Angela Chavez- Youth Pastors
Angela and Jeremy met while working at Sam’s club together, fell in love and were married. They have a son named Enoch. After being raised in the church and accepting Jesus as his savior at the age of eight, Jeremy felt called to ministry when he was thirteen. Angela accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was seven and actively served in kid’s ministry and other church events. They are passionate about student ministry because they know that if God can change their life the way He did, He can do the same for the students. They want each student to know that God loves them and has chosen and called them to stand out for Him. They consider it a privilege to walk alongside the youth in their journey to pursue Christ and want then to know the truth of the Bible, and that the Lord is worthy to be praised!
Brandon is a husband to Katie, and father to three children. He and his wife are opposites in many ways, but united in their passion to see children grow in faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Both had the privilege of growing up as pastor’s kids; which opened the door to numerous opportunities as they were youth to begin working with children’s ministries. Brandon had the calling God placed on him confirmed when he was 18 years old. He went through an internship program for youth and children’s ministries and obtained his ministers license through the Church of God. He has served in nearly every arena of ministry, but for the past 5 years has been exclusively working in Children’s ministry.
Lucia Martinez – Children’s Ministry Assistant
Lucia grew up helping her mom with daycare, and has served in children’s ministry since she was 15 years old. She believes that it is her calling to teach children the word of God and to be an example for them. When Lucia and her husband Jaime began attending Family Worship Center two years ago, she saw the sign-up to help with children’s ministry in the bulletin and immediately signed up. Lucia loves spending time playing with the children, while letting them know that God loves them. Her favorite part is hearing them pray because they are so sincere. Lucia also enjoys cross fit, her two puppies, trying new recipes and spending time with her family.
Jacque Korell – Visual Designer
Jacque has been married to her high school sweetheart, Ryan, for 14 years and they have one daughter, Skyler. She grew up going to church, and rededicated her life to Christ in 2008 when her daughter was born. She has been attending FWC since 2009, and serving in ministry since 2013. Jacque is passionate about her calling in the world of technology. She loves serving in the sound booth, creating the videos and graphics, and serving in several other ministries at FWC! When she’s not at church, she also enjoys spending time with her husband, homeschooling her daughter and cheering on the Colorado Avalanche!
Caroline Ritterling -Insight Ministry Leader
Caroline was born in Duluth, Minnesota, but grew up in Canada. Caroline has been married for 34 years to David Ritterling, and they have six children & five grand children. Caroline accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was in the 9th grade. During a time when she was being bullied at school, some kids from the local church befriended Caroline and invited her to attend bible study. She felt the presence of God there and wanted that for her life. Caroline received Jesus that night! Caroline moved to Pueblo in 1998, and began attending Family Worship Center in 2008. Caroline is passionate about training and leading counselors in order to construct biblical lay counseling opportunities. In her free time Caroline enjoys gardening, walking, shopping in antique stores, reading, and spending time with her wonderful husband & family.
Silas Montoya – Fusion Young Marriage & Worship Leader
Silas is a Pueblo Native and leads the Fusion Young Married Ministry, along with the worship teams during the month. He has attended Family Worship Center for seven years and has been a Christian since his senior year in high school. After high school he attended Kings College & Seminary and received his BA in theological studies. Silas has been married for 10 years to the most beautiful woman in the world, Tobey, and they have four children together. He loves obstacle courses and trail running.
Mario Vigil – Young Adult Pastor
Mario is a Pueblo Native and has been married to Alethea for ten years. They have two children, Kiera and Leeland. Mario gave his life to the Lord when he was seventeen years old after attending a youth conference that his friend invited him to. After that experience he began working in the youth and music ministry. He attended New Life’s School of Worship, and became an accredited minister with the Church of God. Mario previously was a youth pastor for 10 years, and a worship pastor for 6. He has considered it a privilege to lead the young adult ministry at Family Worship Center for the past four years. Mario is passionate about seeing people follow after God. He loves how God changes lives when they allow Him to take the lead in their life and are determined to change! In his free time Mario enjoys playing Frisbee golf, fishing, hiking, bike riding, music, tacos, Starbucks white chocolate mochas, and spending time with his family.
Julia Perez – Women’s Ministry Leader (Sisters)
Julia is the wife of Muggzy, mother of three adult children, Jerry Monique and Sabrina, and grandmother of five. She has a bachelor in Social Work and has worked in the substance abuse field and also with people with developmental disabilities. Julia has been saved for 16 years. She did not grow up in a Christian home and in February of 2001 was radically changed after hearing a testimony of who Jesus Christ is at a home bible study. She soon began attending church and learning more about Christ from his word. Julia has worked in several ministries throughout the years and has a passion for evangelism and prison ministry. Julia is thankful to God for the opportunity to assist woman in becoming life long follower of Christ through Sisters ministry here at FWC.
Steve Aragon – Men’s Ministry Leader (ISI)
Steve is originally from Denver, and has been attending Family Worship Center since relocating to Pueblo in 2011. Steve is married to his amazing wife and has three children. Steve accepted Christ when he was twenty-nine years old, and has a deep love for ministry, since rededicating his life to Christ in 2006. Steve began his service at FWC three years ago as the Ministry Leader for Celebrate Recovery, and is now leading the Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) Men’s Ministry. Steve has an incredible testimony, which God is using daily to minister to men’s lives. Steve is an ASE Certified Master Technician, and in his free time you will often catch him covered in grease and oil. He has a true servant’s heart, and is passionate about helping others discover the freedom that is in Christ Jesus.
Chris Jaramillo – Sound Engineer
Chris is married to Lucy and together they have two daughters. Chris has been a Christian since 2005. Chris decided to become a follower if God after hearing about Christ from a spiritual debate between two coworkers in a bar. Chris has been passionate about his ministry ever since God called him into it about 8 years ago.
Cindy Snyder – Celebrate Recover Ministry Leader
Cindy was born in Denver, Colorado. She lived there until her family moved to the mountains of Colorado, where she graduated high school. Since then she has lived in Ohio, Montana, and Tennessee. Her husband, Tom, and her moved to Pueblo three years ago. Celebrate Recovery is why they started attending FWC. Cindy was struggling with anorexia and came to Celebrate Recovery to find help. The people at CR were so friendly and supportive they decided to see what the church services at FWC were like. They fell in love with the worship and with the Pastor Dave’s teachings. Cindy has recovered from anorexia and is now one of the leaders in Celebrate Recovery. She has 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Cindy loves to garden, and is passionate about teaching & helping people.
