1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith and your purity.” Students are called to set the standard for the believers. The goal FWC Student Ministry is to come along side parents, helping encourage students to be life-long followers of Christ, challenging them to “Be an example to all believers” through relevant Bible studies, genuine worship, earnest prayer and Christ-centered events.

Meet our Student Pastors

Mario and Alethea Vigil
Student Pastors

Mario and Alethea Vigil met in 2001 while they were both youth leaders at Agape Fellowship in Pueblo, CO, and eventually took over that ministry in 2002. In 2005, they married and had 2 children. They are now privileged to lead FWC Student Ministry and have been involved in student ministries at FWC since 2024, but they are no strangers to ministry. They have also been on the worship team and served as young adult pastors here at FWC. Mario is an ordained minister in the Church of God and has been on the Rocky Mountain Regional Youth Board since 2010. Mario was called into ministry at 17, while Alethea was born into a ministry family, with her parents and grandparents serving as pastors.

Mario and Alethea are committed to leading students to experience a relationship with Christ and providing a safe place for students to grow in their walk with God.
